XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/19
This group of kids and adults benefited greatly from a free mini ski lesson yesterday with Erin before embarking on their ski adventure. Mini lessons are almost always available at the rental desk for beginners – just ask when you rent your skis!
We received about two inches of snow throughout the day yesterday, adding to the already substantial base of snow we have on the trails. Groomer Mike will set new tracks and snow comb the entire system today. Trails are in best-of-season condition, and with temps in the mid-twenties this weekend, everyone should be outside somewhere enjoying this awesome winter weather. We have 12-24+ inches of snow in the woods, and 5-9 inches packed on the trails.

COMING UP:
Join us Sunday from 2pm-4pm for LIVE music outside on the sun deck! Forest Parker will be serenading the crowd with Americana favorites that span the decades. Grab a craft beer, saddle up to one of the outdoor fire pits, and enjoy!
Sunday, Feb 28th: Skiers 19 or younger are invited to join us for the 27th Annual Junior Muffin Race! The Junior Muffin Race this year will be a single skier freestyle race (instead of a relay as in years past). The course will be approximately 6km of rolling terrain. There are also Mini Muffin races for ages 11 and younger, with shorter distances. Awards will be given to top three females and males, and for best costumes! The Stone Turtle Cafe is open for outdoor dining, as well as 25% capacity indoor dining! Have a hot panini sandwich on the sun deck after your ski!
