Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

We received a heavy dusting of snow last night, and it continues to snow this morning. This will freshen up the trails beautifully for another great day of skiing today. Tractor Mike transported snow to several thinning spots along the trails yesterday, and Groomer Butch went over it with the Ginzu yesterday afternoon to smooth it out. Groomer Mike will Ginzu snow comb all the trails today, and continue his work patching up the power line section of the Manitou trail. Conditions are very good to excellent for skating and classic on all trails except Tall Pines, which is a little thin in some spots. Overall the skiing is great, and it’s just beautiful out there!

Forecast:

Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High 18F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: A few clouds. Low 4F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 18F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.
