Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

Yesterday brought another great day of skiing, despite the cold temps! The sun was out the entire day, and some brave skiers found shelter from the wind on the trails. Because there was only light use on the trails yesterday and no new snow last night, we will not be grooming today. Conditions are still wonderful for classic and skating, with wide, snow combed skate lanes and firm classic tracks. Join us tonight for Full Moon Night Skiing from 6PM – 8PM!

Forecast:

Today: Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High 4F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Some clouds. Low -14F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunny, along with a few afternoon clouds. High 6F. Winds light and variable.

The Stone Turtle Day Lodge Lunch Special is the Mediterranean Tuna Panini! Albacore Tuna, kalamata olives, banana peppers, red onion, baby spinach, housemade hummus, and provolone cheese, grilled to perfection on a ciabatta bun. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle!
Join us tonight from 6PM to 8PM for Full Moon Night Skiing! Experience the magic of winter at nighttime. Ski along the Trappers Cabin trail, which is lit with rustic torches on this magical evening under the night sky. Enjoy a bonfire and free hot cocoa at Trapper’s Cabin, and venture out on the other trails under the light of the moon if you dare! (Or, bring/rent a headlamp.) Skiers who need to rent skis or snowshoes for Full Moon Night Skiing only (between 6:00 – 8:00pm) may do so for $12. Join us for an evening you’ll never forget!
