XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/28

Even without much snow our trails are still beautiful. A snow shoe hike might be a fine way to make your day!

The warm temperatures have reduced our skiing options considerably! Our forecast however, calls for some snow this morning, if we get a couple of inches we may be able to get another day of skiing in. Otherwise the Rolling Hills trail has some nice stretches of snow but also has some bare spots. These snow stretches are very good for trying out demo skis. The rest of the trails have too many bare spots to justify skiing on. We will be keeping regular hours throughout the end of March.

Forecast:

Today: Snow this morning will give way to some clearing this afternoon. High 42F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 90%. About one inch of snow expected.

Tonight: Some clouds. Low 26F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies. High 48F. Winds light and variable.

Wednesday: Cloudy. High around 55F. Winds S at 10 to 20 mph.

The Chili is on and today’s lunch special is Bosco Sticks with Chili!

The March Madness is in full swing with end of season prices on all clothing and ski gear.

We look forward to seeing you!

Lynne, Bob, Mariah, Stu, Fran, Brian, Erin, Matt V, Ryan, Lexi, Gage, Matt B, Grant, Shania, Kevin, Henry, Dana and the crew
