XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/21
Our Areco Jr Snow gun has performed beyond expectations for the past cold spell!
The Blizzard XC Ski Park is open and ready for skiers to enjoy. Yesterday we had skiers from as far away as Cleveland, Washington State and even Bogota Columbia taking a lesson, training for the World Childrens games coming up in Innsbrook Austria and Michigan Cup Skiers getting in some training.
Even though the weather is forecast to warm up and get wet from now through Christmas we are not too worried. The man made snow is very deep (12 to 60 inches) and will endure the warm spell. We look forward to having a great venue for having fun on snow, taking lessons and trying out new skis over the Holidays.
Please stop in, the Stone Turtle Day Lodge is open, the Chili is cooking and Chef Ryan will be serving lunch today. A fire is burning in the fireplace. Of course our Holiday Sale is on with great deals on ski packages and XC ski clothing.
