Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 12/08

About 7-8 km of trails have been packed and combed using the Pisten Bully PB100 and the 12 foot wide tiller flaps. The corduroy base is thin with no classic tracks, but current snowfall should continue to improve coverage. Rock Skis recommended.

I will post further condition updates as we head into the weekend.

The snow has finally returned to Forbush Corner. Larry will pack and groom some trails this morning and we will be open this afternoon. I will post a conditions update as soon as Larry reports back on how the trails are shaping up.

The plan right now is to be open both Saturday and Sunday for sure this weekend. I will let everyone know about our plans for Monday later in the weekend.

The weekend of Dec. 15-17 we will be having Demo days. We will have a variety of skis and snow shoes for people to try. If you purchase a pair of skis between Dec. 15th and Jan. 1st, Madshus is offering a free 2.0 binding with your purchase. That is a $100 savings and a great deal. So, if you are looking for a pair of skis this might be the time to get a pair.
