Lots of snow on the trail cam early this morning!

We have received a total of 6 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, and are projected to get a bit more throughout the day today. Groomer Stu spent most of yesterday afternoon packing and Ginzu snow combing the fresh snow on the trails, and Groomer Bob will continue this morning with Ginzu snow combing the skating lanes and setting fresh tracks in this order: Tall Pines, Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Manitou and Adventure. We have a 7 to 11 inch base, and 11 to 21 inches of snow in the woods. Tracks will be set on all 8 trails by 11:00am. Winter wonderland has returned!

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the morning. High 23F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies. Low 8F. Winds light and variable.

Thursday: Cloudy. A few flurries are possible. High 28F. Winds light and variable.

Today’s lunch special is the Mediterranean Tuna Wrap! Albacore tuna, homemade hummus, kalamata olives, feta cheese, spinach, red onions and tomatoes, rolled up in a giant tortilla wrap and grilled on the panini press. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle. Boom.
