XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/15
It was a beautiful, bluebird day of skiing yesterday, with sunny skies and great skiing conditions. WE received a dusting of snow last night, and as of 6:45am it is lightly snowing. Groomer Henry will snow comb all the skating lanes this morning, and repair the classic tracks where needed. All 8 trails are in great shape for classic and skating. We have a 9 to 13 inch base and 12 to 16 inches of snow in the woods.
Forecast:
Today: Snow showers early with a chance of lingering snow showers later. High 26F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
Tonight: Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Low 18F. Winds light and variable.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 34F. Winds light and variable.
Today’s lunch special is the Ryan Wrap! Double cheese, pesto, bell peppers, spinach, tomato, red onion, hummus and chipotle mayo on a giant wrap, grilled to melty, crispy perfection and served with chips and a pickle! We also have some delicious, fresh baked chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, plus Stu’s favorite Bosco Sticks. Mmmm, good.
Don’t miss our Presidents’ Day Flash Sale! 40% off all insulated jackets and vests from North Face, Under Armour, Patagonia and Columbia. Today only!!!
It’s another great day to XC ski!
