Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/25

A Consumers Energy crew is on-site. They believe power will be restored and we should have the lifts turning (Yellow, Purple, and magic carpet) for an abbreviated day on the slopes with Santa from 2-4:30pm.
For more family fun, Alpine Tubing at Summit Mtn will be open today from 2-8pm.
For lunch and dinner, The Lakeview is open and The River Bistro will be re-opened once power is restored.
Thank you to the men and women of Consumers Energy for working on Christmas Day so we can get back to work too. Merry Christmas.
Today’s weather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies. Highs will be around 35 degrees.
Please be aware: snow conditions will be soft with thin areas near the edges of the trails. Please ski and ride with care. Access to and from the Magic Carpet area will be by shuttle ride only. Access to Low Rider and Over (access to Cedar River Village) is accessible only by foot.
