Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 12/11
Last updated: Thursday 07:58 PM
OPEN DAILY FOR THE SEASON
Early season conditions are absolutely unreal right now. We are sitting at 16 trails across 120 acres of pure Michigan skiing and riding, and our snowmaking crew is still cranking away to bring you more. Night skiing fires up Friday, December 19.
Oh, and Mother Nature might drop by with another 2-4" of lake effect for us over the weekend.
SHOUTOUT TO THE REAL MVPs
Our snowmaking team is 85+ hours deep into another solid run, working around the clock to open more terrain this weekend. But they’re not just making snow. They also helped recover an engagement ring that was dropped from SkyBridge Michigan. Because that’s what legends do. Massive props to this passionate crew doing the most for our guests, even when you don’t see it.
SOMETHING IS COMING SATURDAY
Let’s just say we’re expanding to over 215 acres this weekend. Trail announcements drop tomorrow. Things are looking very good around here.
THIS WEEKEND: HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
Bring the family for lunch with Santa, holiday crafts, and Lights In The Sky at SkyBridge Michigan. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season.
If anything, swing by for complimentary restaurant food samples from 3-5pm at participating outlets. Aprรจs tastes better when it’s free.
SANTA SUNDAY
Here’s the deal: Show up in full costume and snag a $25 lift ticket (purchase online in advance). Your lift access literally won’t work until we see your costume. We’re serious.
Group photo at 11am. Don’t miss it.
All proceeds benefit Brother Dan’s Food Pantry, so you get to shred for a good cause. Win-win.
IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDERS
Our snowmaking and grooming teams are actively working on closed terrain throughout the daytime hours. For everyone’s safety, please respect all closure signs and ropes. Uphill travel remains closed until further notice.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Safety isn’t about killing the vibe. It’s about protecting it. From dialing in your equipment to reading snow and weather conditions, we want you armed with everything you need to make smart calls on the mountain.
When you know what you’re doing out there, everyone has a better day.
