Great news to report today. I did a bit of touch up grooming in the stadium and groomed the dog Friendly Trails across the road. We had 2 shifts from the groomers today, 6 machines packing and operators cutting in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. 4 will be back in the morning to complete, Sunset, Wolf Tracks and Windy Ridge…..that means 89 km will be open with only the Historic Trail left. I just want to say a big thank you to this loyal grooming crew who have all pulled on their “Big Boy” pants to get the job done after this 1 in 27 year snow event. Combi Trails are still mint, not need to touch them up in the morning…we will let both sleeping cats lie.

Ski Michigan

FROM Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation Inc. >> Crasher and Snocross were out scouting the trails this morning. Conditions were too warm and wet to make things better so we let the trails be for the day. Skiers still enjoyed the trails despite the softer conditions. The temps are dropping tonight and 3-5 inches of snow in the forecast. We will have a full groom crew in tomorrow morning to set new track and comb out the fresh snow. #abrtrails #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganCrasher and Snocross were out scouting the trails this morning. Fantastic skiing yesterday, a little slower than usual, but I couldn’t believe how firm it held up despite the warmth
