ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 12/14
Several of our snowshoe loops are open, cleared, and packed including the Cabin Trail (y-shaped out and back), Cedar Loop (orange), Bear Paw Loop (red), Meadow Loop (green, partial). The snowshoe trails are well marked with ribbons coordinating to the trail color. The highlighted map shows the open trails. The entrance to the snowshoe trails is just before the woodshed on the west side heading south from the chalet before the practice loop. The green Meadow Loop is accessible on the east side of the practice loop along the woods/fence.
We have snowshoes for rent. Enjoy the trails!

FROM Anderson Bluffs & River Trails Foundation Inc. >> We had a full team of groomers out today grooming up most of the combination trails and all of the classics. The fresh 4 inches of snow really cleaned things up and made for excellent skiing.
There is another 1-3 inches of snow in the forecast so we will have the full crew out again tomorrow morning to reset track and Pisten Bully the combi’s. Skiing should be fantastic for the weekend.

Conditions were too warm and wet to make things better so we let the trails be for the day. Skiers still enjoyed the trails despite the softer conditions. The temps are dropping tonight and 3-5 inches of snow in the forecast. We will have a full groom crew in tomorrow morning to set new track and comb out the fresh snow. #abrtrails #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichiganCrasher and Snocross were out scouting the trails this morning. Fantastic skiing yesterday, a little slower than usual, but I couldn’t believe how firm it held up despite the warmth
