Blackjack Snow Report – 12/26
BLACKJACK IS OPEN FOR THE SEASON
Our snowmakers have been doing an incredible job here at Blackjack! We are so happy to announce that Blackjack is now open for the season.
3-6 inches of snow is forecasted for today with 1-4 addtional inches possible!
Shanty Girl, Oxbow, Just Cuz, Narrow Gauge and the Beginner Area will be open. Narrow Gauge Park will be open with features!
Looks like we will start making snow again on Thursday and be able to crank out the snow for the foreseeable future. If the forecast holds, we should have Broad Axe, River Drive and perhaps a few other trails open by Thursday Dec. 31. This would give us roughly 80% of skiable terrain or about 136 skiable acres open at Blackjack.
Combined with Indianhead, we hope to have around 326 skiable acres open for the weekend of December 31 weather permitting.
