Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 12/11 – Closed for Skiing this Weekend
Nub’s Nob Closed for Skiing this Weekend.
Working with Mother Nature is never dull. She was kind to us earlier this season, allowing us to be the only ski area in the Lower Peninsula open all of Thanksgiving Weekend and we were open last weekend as well.
Last night things changed with temperatures in the 50’s, rain and winds gusting 30 to 40 mph from the southwest which really melted the snowpack.
This loss of snow depth will not allow us to safely open the slopes this weekend.
Our award-winning Snow Crew is watching the forecast and looking forward to cooling temperatures. Give us a hand and please, THINK SNOW!
