Prepare for the last hurrah of spring skiing!

No, we’re not April-fooling you. We are forecast to receive 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow, Thursday, which could make for a great day of adventure skiing! Some of the Rolling Hills and other trails still have remnants of a nice, crusty base on them, and 3 inches of snow on top will make for some fun spring skiing. If we do get 3 inches of snow, we will try to roll in tracks and will keep you posted of the results. It is supposed to snow all day, so come enjoy free rock ski rentals, plus use of the trails ‘on the house’ as long as the snow lasts. And if you’re so inclined, stick around for yoga class tomorrow (Thursday) night at 5:30pm in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge!

Our end of season hours are as follows (barring any April blizzards, in which case we will reopen of course):

This week:

Thursday & Friday: 10:00am to 5:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am to 4:00pm – Shop the End of Season Sale, then join Bob and Lynne for some food, fun and sunshine on the sun deck!

Sunday and beyond: Open by appointment – Call 800-832-2663 and we’ll meet you at the shop. Or, if you see the open flag out by the road, it means we’re there and we’re open!

*The End of Season Sale is in full swing, so don’t miss your chance to score some really sweet deals on cross country skis, clothing and more!

Finally, we would like to thank you, our customers, friends and supporters, for a very fun and memorable ski season. We feel very grateful for the many days of excellent skiing, for your enthusiasm and wonderful company, and for your never ending passion for the authentic wonders of the outdoors. Thank you for sharing your precious winter time with us, and for making Cross Country Ski Headquarters the special place that it is.

Please stop in and see us this spring and summer when you’re in the area! Feel free to ride bikes, hike, and walk dogs on the ski trails. Remember that we are only a phone call away if you want to stop in and talk skis or browse the sale racks. We also sell roller skis, so just give us a call if you want to try them out or order a pair!
