Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

Very good spring skiing conditions prevail on much of the ski trails. Groomer Bob will snow comb the Michigan Cup Loop this morning, which is in excellent condition and includes the Rolling Hills trail and part of the Trapper’s Cabin trail. The rest of the Trapper’s Cabin trail is in decent shape with a couple of thin spots, Tall Pines is marginal, Mackinaw Cut and Wild Turkey and Adventure are fair, and Manitou is 70% good and 30% fair. Overall, conditions are quite good, and you can use your “A” skis on the Michigan Cup Loop with no problem. We are expecting up to 3 inches of snow today and tonight, which will enable us to set tracks, and will put us in great shape for classic and skating this weekend!

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy, snow likely in the afternoon. Chance of snow 80%. Snow accumulation 1 inch.

Tonight: Variably cloudy with snow showers. Low around 30. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 70%. About 1 inch of snow expected.

Tomorrow: cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 41. Winds light and variable.
