Treetops Resort Snow Report – 12/30

Oh, New Years Eve at Treetops is no doubt the place to be. We have more activities than you can shake a stick at and the skiing and riding is great too. This is the one day of the year in which you can take advantage of 13 hours (yes 13 hours of skiing) as we’re open from 10am – 11pm, just in time to ring in 2011 in style. What events you say?

How about starting the day with a Paraffin dip in the Spa to moisterize those hands that will be so active the rest of the day and evening. Dog Sled Rides are available for the first time at Treetops on New Years Eve from 10am – 5pm. The evenings festivities have something planned for everyone. The littlest ones (ages 6 mo. to 12 years) can party in the Kids Center with Sheila and the gang. The teens…we haven’t forgotten about them with a FREE party in the Halfway Cafe complete with Table games and a DJ. The adults can supervize their kids there or take advantage of any of our 3 Top of the Hill Restaurants. Hunter’s Grille will offer a wonderful New Year’s Eve Buffet that can feed the whole family or just mom and dad, whatever your pleasure. The Sportsbar will feature our increasingly popular Elizabeth Cannon with live entertainment from 9pm – 1am. Finally, another hotspot will be Legends on the Hill with the duo DNA rocking us into the New Year from 9pm – 1am also. Appetizers and champagne will be served at this part that costs only $20 per person. The family is welcome here as well. Our outdoor activity gets underway in the early evening with Fireside Activities by our Bonfire then a Torchlight Parade that anyone with a valid lift ticket or season pass is welcome to participate in at the top of the Chute as we near 2011 at 11pm. Finally, fireworks will help us ring in the New Year at Midnight.

There is no reason to NOT be at Treetops on New Year’s Eve. Come and join us!
