Winter refuses to retreat at Boyne Mountain! Reaching just over 200" deep at max depth, Victor has us standing proud as the Midwest’s last ski resort still in action. Memorial Day skiing? Challenge accepted! At Boyne Mountain, we don’t play by the rules.
But don’t worry, we’re embracing the season change too! Our Alpine Course awakens from its winter slumber tomorrow, May 2. Trade those ski poles for golf clubs and take in those stunning views of Deer Lake that make our course special.
For the truly ambitious, the Hemlock Open this Saturday is your jackpot. Morning ski runs followed by afternoon golf swings. Bring a buddy for this ski and 9-hole scramble where prizes, surprises, and the ultimate bragging rights of conquering two seasons in one day await.
At Boyne Mountain, we’re not choosing between seasons—we’re having a full-blown seasonal affair. So why not get tangled in the fun of when winter’s last competitive dance meets spring’s first swing!

HANG TIGHT TILL SATURDAY!
Victor lift comes to life 9am Saturday! Ride the iconic Victor Glacier and choose your adventure: cruise to the Halfway or brave "The Wiggle" – our patrol’s hand-carved chaos masterpiece!
Attention Park Riders: Channel your inner mountain goat and hike from the top of Victor over to Ramshead to throw down. Walking up from the base area is not ideal and there is no parking at the base of D8. Best route is to ride up Victor and make your way past the Eagle’s Nest. Then settle in for Ramshead on repeat.
We’re running lean and mean from 9am-1pm both Saturday and Sunday. Nothing spinning Monday through Friday, so plan your mountain adventures accordingly!
Victor Glacier = Laps Into May
Sitting pretty with a mind-blowing 206 INCHES of snow at max depth! We’re not just making it to May… we’re eyeing Memorial Day weekend!
Our legendary crew stacked over 30 hours of snowmaking in March, and we even got a few hours in so far this month. With an average depth of 96 inches across the Victor Glacier, don’t even think about storing that gear yet.
Slope Hours
Saturday & Sunday: 9am-1pm
Weekend hours (Saturday & Sunday) are 9am-1pm with access to Victor via the Victor lift and Ramshead Terrain Park via the Ramshead lift. We’ll stay open as long as conditions allow, and if we reach Memorial Weekend, expect a celebration!
Mitten Love
Now through the end of eternity…or our season, whichever comes first, anyone with a valid season pass from ANY Michigan ski resort can ride at Boyne Mountain for just $25 per day – no blackouts. Best of all, $2 from every ticket goes towards the Snow Angel Foundation.
