Noquemanon Trail Network Cross Country Ski Report – 04/08
Grooming April 8, 2016
Forestville: Yesterday’s Bombi grooming combined with cold over night temperatures and light skier traffic indicated no grooming this morning. I expect skiers will find excellent skiing again today.
Way Too Long Version:
As the bard explained, grooming with Ginzu over yesterday’s Bombi surface would
Therefore, to be possess’d with double pomp,
To guard a title that was rich before,
To gild refined gold, to paint the lily,
To throw a perfume on the violet,
To smooth the ice, or add another hue
Unto the rainbow, or with taper-light
To seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish,
Is wasteful and ridiculous excess.
Lows in the teens and twenties and highs near freezing with snow in every day’s 6 day forecast will keep the groomers cold and wet for some time to come. Groomers will clean up the skate lanes tomorrow morning and Sunday morning. What a great thing.
