UPDATED: Had someone stop at the shop just to check and make sure we did indeed have snow! He said a couple of his friends didn’t believe it. Well we do indeed have snow and the skiing this morning was great. I will always give an honest trail report. The intense sun we had today did do some melting, but there is still good coverage for skating and an occasional open spot in the classic track. Lows tonight will be in the low teens. Should be another good day to be outside.

UPDATE: Absolutely beautiful conditions. Larry groomed up 18k of trails. Mid winter conditions, you can use your best racing skis.

Larry is heading out to groom up the east trails. He rolled them yesterday, so they should have set up nicely over night. I’ll have the shop open by 10am and have a better trail report after I ski the trails. It is looking like a good weekend for skiing or snowshoeing with temperatures staying below freezing. Hope to see you sometime this weekend.

It’s looking good to be open this Friday through Sunday. Larry fixed the groomer and it is snowing and accumulating like crazy. Plan is to have Larry groom up the trails on Friday morning and Ann will have the shop open at 10. One more shot at skiing!
