Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 03/01

3/1 and John will have all the trails groomed. We have over 6 inches of fresh snow and it’s still falling.

Taste and Glide starts at 11 am. Parking Attendents will help you find a parking spot at the lodge trail head. There is also parking at the Upper Parking lot. Looking forward to seeing our Annual T&G attendees and all the 1st times. The trails are not closed for T&G. Bring cash or check to pay at the lodge. Have Fun!

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> Wednesday the 4th of February and John has groomed all trails. We got at least 6 more inches of snow yesterday after John groomed. The lodge will be open. Yesterday the Tractor decided it would only work going in reverse. John had to drive it in reverse 3 miles to get it back to the trail head. We do have a warranty on the tractor. Hopefully that will be figured out soon. The old Jeep will need to keep the trails groomed. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan ... See MoreSee Less

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 1/30, more snow and still falling and John is grooming. John is being hampered by branches ladened with snow and ice hitting the cab of MAGNUS, needing to stop often to cut the branches. These branches will eventually damage our equipment. We need to have a work bee to take care of this problem. Once we pick some dates to do this we will advice. The lodge is open at 10 am. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan1/30, more snow and still falling and John is grooming.
