Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 02/03
Tuesday the 3rd of February and John Cromell has groomed all trails except DW and Stairway. Those are the trails that the crew is working on today to remove low hanging tree limbs. Snow is currently falling.
The lodge is open.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 1/31, All trails are groomed and ready to go. After a week of snow storms we are going to have a reprieve from snow and cold today. Approximately 44 inches of settled snow in the woods and 18 Base inches of snow on the trails. The lodge will be open at 10 am. #valleyspur #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan

John is being hampered by branches ladened with snow and ice hitting the cab of MAGNUS, needing to stop often to cut the branches. These branches will eventually damage our equipment. We need to have a work bee to take care of this problem. Once we pick some dates to do this we will advice.
