Swedetown Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 04/24

2026-04-24 11:30 pm

Good evening all – we are still grooming! I took the Husky out this evening once again to till and reset track and skate deck on Tiger, Cedar, Tamarack, Eds, Pine Ridge, Powderhouse, Mama Bear, Baby Bear, Valley, and one pass around Greenstone. The Multi-Use-Loops have also been freshly groomed and tracked this evening. There is a fair bit of debris in the trail surface, but the tiller did a good job of grinding up sticks and pushing down the rest. I expect the trail to set up overnight for at least a few hours of good skiing in the early morning. A few notes to be aware of: as we lose more and more snow, we are going to start seeing more and more bare spots showing up on the trails. Please exercise caution and be sure to watch ahead of you! On Powderhouse, there are two bare sections, but they are easy to spot. Enjoy your ski everyone!!

Our Head Groomer is out in the Husky grooming the trails this evening, 4-24-2026. Expect great skiing Saturday!
