Helloooooo Boyne Mountain! It’s Kyler, with your snow report.
We are open for weekend skiing Saturday & Sunday from 9am-1pm with Victor Glacier.
The park crew is working to have a setup with some features at the bottom of the glacier for as long as we can. They’re putting in work to keep the fun going.
Victor Glacier is about 15 feet deep, and still going strong. Weekend riding in May is looking good.
Victor Glacier: Michigan’s Longest Season
Mount Bohemia is officially closed for the season, which means Victor remains the winner as the longest season in Michigan. We’re not stopping until Mother Nature makes us.
And don’t forget about the Boho Bash on Saturday, May 16, our late-season celebration to close out the winter in style.
This Week’s Weather
The weather is looking more like normal spring this week, so temps are looking good at preserving more snow for riding this weekend.
The Hemlock Open is happening this weekend. Our annual ski & golf tournament at Boyne Mountain. Whether you’re tossing teeing off or making turns, it’s a competition for everyone.

Duane was more than a lift operator; he was a greeter, a candy man, a Legend with a capital L. The kind of person who made a chairlift ride feel like the best part of your day. If you were lucky, you'd settle into your seat and feel something land in your hood. A little piece of candy, and a whole lot of joy.
He did that for everyone. He didn't care if you were on your first run or your thousandth.
That's what made Duane so special. He was a constant reminder that mountains are shared places. We all come here chasing the same thing. Deep snow, first tracks, and a feeling that's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it. Duane got that better than most.
Opening day is going to feel a little different this year. But we carry him with us in every bluebird morning, every act of kindness passed to a stranger on the lift, and every kid who gets their first taste of winter magic.
