Mount Bohemia Snow Report – 04/27
Sadly the season ended Sunday.
Bohemia skied from Dec 6 thru April 26 a great five month season .. We thought we would make May 10th with a huge base heading into April but the ground never froze . That is the one downside of big early snow , the ground was insulated and once it warmed up the melting was way faster than normal .
Thanks to all the employees , ski patrol and passholders who made it up this year .

FROM Mount Bohemia >> Bohemia will be open Saturday and Sunday April 25 and 26 for skiing and riding . We have however lost a lot of snow in the past 24 hours . Open terrain will be limited . We expect Ghost trail , all of the graveyard section , pica pau , Parrot, Tuocan, plank and lower prospector . Bad seed might be open Saturday based on how much snow we lose tonight . Expect obstacles , barespots, running water and the unexpected .

FROM Mount Bohemia >> Voodoo trail expansion is getting close to starting as yesterday MJO construction clears the site and roads in . These new runs to the west of Haiti Peak will represent the biggest expansion at Voodoo since the creation of the New Orleans Peak back in 2016. Voodoo Mountain is a property of 1800 acres and when fully built out it will have more ski terrain than any ski area in the Midwest . Next year Free snowcat skiing for all Bohemia passholders per the daily lottery system. #mountbohemia #whatsnew #SkiMichigan

FROM Mount Bohemia >> Scenes from yesterday ( Sunday ) at Bohemia . A few bare spots are forming on the front side runs .Snow is deepest on north side - Haunted Valley and Pirates cove . We expect to have over 125 acres open next weekend with the Front side , Haunted Valley section , Graveyard section , Pirates Cove section , and Possibly Tommy knockers and Badlands . Triple chair will run Sat and Sun 930 to 5pm .Nordic spa daily 12 to midnight #mountbohemia #SkiMichigan

When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.FROM >> Mount Bohemia >> The explosion of backcountry touring and split boarding has gotten our attention .Bohemia is adding a whole new section of about 80 acres of inbounds backcountry terrain on ridge line just past the haunted Valley. This will be hike /skin in only terrain with modest verticals of around 200 feet. When fully built out this ridge will be over a half mile wide.This section of the property gets the some of the highest snowfall anywhere at Bohemia. Bohemia plans to build some backcountry hike in cabins for year round use . #mountbohemia #whatsnew #SkiMichigan

Voodoo mountain terrain expansion phase one starts at the end of April. Seven new runs are planned for next winter . The plan for next season is to raise the season pass by $5 on everyone and to include Snowcat skiing at Voodoo Mountain free for all season passholders. There would be a Lottery every day at 510pm to see who gets to go the next day . Snowcat sessions would be a morning and afternoon session . Do you want this ? #mountbohemia #seasonpass #SkiMichigan
