Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 04/02

Last updated: Tuesday 07:14 AM

Operations Update

The following lifts are open as scheduled until further notice:

– Mountain Express
– Boyneland
– Estelles Way

Ramshead park is also closed for riding. We plan to re-evaluate weekend terrain status on Thursday to provide an update. Stay tuned here, and on our social media channels for updates.

Due to continued ice buildup on trees, we are advising guests to ride in the center of our open terrain. Riding in the trees is not permitted.

Thank you for riding safely!

SkyBridge Michigan and the Hemlock lift remain closed until Friday, April 4 to allow conditions to improve before our teams can remove fallen trees.

We would also like to thank our local and regional emergency services for supporting our community during this ice storm. Thanks for keeping the lights on!

No End in Sight

Our legendary crew has stacked over 30 hours of snowmaking this month, and the slopes are packed with snow. Don’t even think about storing that gear yet. We’re fighting to keep that closing date as far away as possible.

After a wet weekend, things level out by Monday with prime spring ski temps during the day and cooler temps at night to keep the snow firm for morning corduroy ripping.

Victor Glacier = Laps Into May

With a mind-blowing 245 inches of snow accumulation, this beauty is set to carry us well into May. Memorial Day skiing? It’s not out of the question.

Slope Hours

9am-4:30pm daily through April 6

Slope Plan

Slopes are open daily from 9am-4:30pm through Sunday, April 6. We then go to a weekend only (Saturday/Sunday) schedule with as much terrain as possible available through April 20. Post 4/20, it’s all about Victor. We’ll add some features and ride out the weekends from 9am-1pm until the snow melts. If we hit Memorial Weekend, you know there’ll be a party!

Mitten Love

Now through the end of eternity…or our season, whichever comes first, anyone with a valid season pass from ANY Michigan ski resort can ride at Boyne Mountain for just $25 per day – no blackouts. Best of all, $2 from every ticket goes towards the Snow Angel Foundation.
