Crystal Mountain Cross Country Ski Report – 01/31
It’s icy out there! Track set is spotty and shallow, with leaf litter in the wooded areas. Skate lanes are firm and fast; exercise caution in the hills.Rental equipment is available, and trail passes are required. Call the Kinlochen Pro shop at ext. 4000. PLEASE NOTE: Our XC trail system is for skiers only – no walking on these fresh tracks, please. Footprints ruin the packed, corduroyed skating lanes. For walkers, the Otter Run loop directly across from Kinlochen is a multi-use trail designated for walking as well as skiing.
New Snow: Snowing lightly
Snow Depth in Woods: 6+"
Packed Snow Depth on Trails: Up to 4"
