Lots of fresh powder – but it is really COLD out, so dress for the weather and limit skin exposure. Warmer weather Friday and Saturday allow us to get the groomers out.

Groomers will be grooming Empire to Glen Arbor Friday morning and from Glen Arbor to Port Oneida Road Friday afternoon.

Groomers will groom Glen Haven to Glen Arbor and Palmer Woods Saturday morning.

The colder temperatures have prevented us from grooming. The snow doesn’t compress as well when it is very cold.

Other ski trails in Sleeping Bear Dunes are not groomed but are open for back-country skiing and snowshoeing. They have 5-10″ inches of light powder over hard pack base.

Dress warm and in layers. It’s cold when you start, but you’ll quickly warm up.
