Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 02/26

It’s a clear, cold and beautiful start to the ski day at Nub’s Nob. The corduroy looks fantastic thanks to the fresh snow yesterday and the work of our world-class Grooming Crew.

The snow surface continues to be remarkable this season because of all of the new snow with very few freeze and thaw cycles. The Demo Ski Sale continues in the Tech Center with great deals on this seasons most highly rated skis.

This Saturday is the Nub’s Nob Open, the premier open slalom event in the Midwest. Sign-up for the Nub’s Nob Open begins this Friday at the front desk.

XC Trail System: Trails are open with many down trees following the wind on Sunday night and Monday morning. This is a good time to snowshoe instead of ski the trails. We have a crew working to clear the trails today. The lower red should be cleared and groomed before noon today. We will then begin work on the upper Red trail. Stay tuned for updates.
