XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/21

Many hearty souls took to the trails in the crisp sunshine yesterday, and enjoyed some great ski conditions on the Headquarters trails. Groomer Mike will snow comb the skating lanes later this morning. Tracks on the Trappers Cabin are still in great shape. The best conditions are on the Rolling Hills, Trappers Cabin, Wild Turkey and Manitou trails. Barring some oak leaves, conditions are overall very good for skating and good for classic, with some fabulous stretches out there. The skiing will be wonderful today, with temps in the low teens the sun shining. More snow on the way this week!

Weather Forecast:
Today: Partly cloudy. High around 0F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight: A clear sky. Very cold. Low -14F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.
Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. High 13F. Winds light and variable.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is the Gourmet Mac ‘n Cheese Bar! Feast on our deluxe, cheesy mac ‘n cheese, and choose from a variety of toppings to create your own mac-sterpiece.

Enjoy the great skiing and sunshine today!

All the best,

-Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Erin, Matt, Missy, Gillian, Molly, Annie H., Katrina, Annie B., Grant, Josh, Michelle, Krista, Crystal, Mike and the crew
