Happy New Year! Start off the New Year the right way, on the slopes at Boyne Highlands. Although temperatures have been on the warmer side the past few days, they will drop all day with possible snow showers in the afternoon. We have 96% of our terrain open… that’s 47 trails on 417 skiable acres which promises to include something for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Mother Nature bringing us colder temps mean we will be back in the snowmaking business! Grab your skis/board and come on out to the slopes to welcome in 2011.

NASTAR racing takes place 1-3pm on the Leprechaun trail; registration is from 10:30am – 2:30pm at the on-hill start house and the TUBING PARK is open 12:30-8pm!

Funland Terrain Park is NOW OPEN with 11 exciting features plus an additional rail yard with five elements await your visit on the Heather slope. We will make snow as soon as the cold temps return to finish building  the park and pipe areas and expect to have our popular Skier/Boarder Cross Course available soon too! Check out RideBOYNE.com for the latest details on our terrain  parks.
