Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 04/01
Last updated: Wednesday 08:59 AM
Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It’s Kyler, with today’s snow report.
Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. High of 38° with winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Quiet day today, but our attention is on tomorrow.
Winter Storm Watch: Late Wednesday Night Through Thursday Afternoon
Mixed precipitation is possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and one quarter inch. Temperatures warm above freezing Thursday afternoon. If you’re heading to the mountain Thursday, give yourself extra time and watch for icy spots. I told you this one was worth watching closely. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer.
Another round of storms rolls through Saturday with increasing winds. Sunday wraps the week with a cold front, dropping temperatures sharply and bringing the chance of heavy winds and lake effect snow across northern Michigan.
Late season in Michigan never disappoints. Stay tuned.
With Big Mountain Energy,
Kyler
