Not bad for April 10th!

Yet again, the skiing was marvelous yesterday. It’s really hard to believe how good the conditions have been this late in the season. Despite some freezing drizzle and ice pellets last night, the snow is still in remarkably good shape. We will Ginzu snow comb the main trail network that we have been grooming, which is the whole Rolling Hills and Mackinaw Cut trails, plus parts of Trappers Cabin, Wild Turkey, and Tall Pines this morning by 10:30. Conditions, while somewhat damp, should still be very good for “A” skis.

Forecast:

Today: Cloudy skies with some morning fog. High 38F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies early will give way to cloudy skies late. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 28F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tomorrow: A few flurries possible early. Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. High 39F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is the Barbeque Chicken Wrap! Special Hawaiian BBQ sauce drizzled over sliced oven roasted chicken breast, with swiss cheese, bell peppers, onions, banana peppers, and spinach, grilled and served hot in a giant tortilla wrap. Served with chips and a pickle. It’s a real treat!
