XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 04/13

The Rolling Hills Trail, yesterday, at 5:30 in the afternoon!

The snow is still good on The Rolling Hills trail and parts of the Trappers Cabin and Adventure Trails. The part of the Tall Pines trail that we were grooming has lost too much snow to continue skiing on. So the new trail configuration will be about 3 km and that is what we will groom this morning. It is remarkable how good the snow is on that 3 km trail.

Forecast:

Today: Some lingering morning flurries or snow showers. Generally cloudy. High near 45F. Winds light and variable.

Tonight: Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Low 31F. Winds light and variable.

Thursday: Some clouds in the morning will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. High 54F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A mainly sunny sky. High 62F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special is a Tuna Panini with red onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, black olives and swiss cheese on Stone House Sourdough served with chips and a pickle. Or have it in a wrap!
The End of Season Sale is still in full swing!

As long as there is groomable snow, we are open 10am to 5pm every day. Time to ski!

-Lynne, Bob, Mariah, Stu, Fran, Brian, Erin, Matt V, Ryan, Lexi, Gage, Matt B, Grant, Shania, Kevin, Henry, Dana and the crew
