The John Deere Loop has taken a hit from the warm temps, but after skiing it yesterday, we are at least pleased to report that there are no bare spots except for right at the trail head. Due to the high amount of boiler plate ice, however, Groomer Mike will be spreading snow on it throughout the day today, and smoothing it out towards the end of the day. We recommend waiting to ski until tomorrow, when the trail should be more skiable.

A favorite tradition at Cross Country Ski Headquarters, Ribs & Blues celebrates live music from the West Side Blues Band, made up of local artists Don Mick and Dan McCullough. Enjoy what is surely some of the best barbeque in all the land: German Dave’s famous slow cooked barbequed ribs, cooked over our outdoor fire pit by German Dave himself!
