XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/04
Yesterday was as fun as it gets at XC Ski HQ, with many happy skiers who were eager to get out and enjoy the return of winter. We received roughly 3 inches of fresh snow throughout the day yesterday, and 2 additional inches over night. Groomer Bob snow combed the trails twice yesterday, and Groomer Mike will set out early this morning to snow comb and set tracks on the John Deere loop, as well as snow comb the rest of the trails. He will try rolling in tracks on the rest of the trails, too, but we are not sure what the results will be. Stay tuned! We expect very good to great conditions on the Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Adventure, and Blizzard trails, and good to very good conditions on Manitou, Trapper’s Cabin and Tall Pines. se trails, which include Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Trappers Cabin, and Manitou. The practice area will be snow combed with tracks set as well, and is open for lessons and demos.

Today: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the morning. High near 15F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snowfall around one inch.
Tonight: Some clouds. Low 1F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow: Cloudy. High 16F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.
