The skiing is better than it has been in weeks. We received 6 to 7 inches of snow since Friday, which has completely transformed the trails and has brought winter back! Groomers Butch and Mike were able to set tracks on all the trails yesterday morning, and the skating lanes were snow combed with the Ginzu. We received another 2 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday, so Mike made another trip around the trails last night with the Ginzu to let the snow set up for today. Butch will make another pass this morning, snow combing the skating lanes. Conditions range from very good to excellent on the main trail system across the street, with the skating lanes in very good to great shape, but with some thin spots in the tracks where we still need a bit more snow. Luckily temps will stay cold this week, and with any luck we’ll get a few more inches of snow before next weekend!

Tonight: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 7F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. High 14F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is the Mediterranean Tuna Panini! Albacore Tuna, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, banana peppers, sun dried tomatoes, baby spinach and provolone cheese, grilled to perfection on a Ciabatta bun!
