Downhill slopes open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9am-5pm

Midwest Telefest 2018 is this weekend

Friday 2/9 – ski the runs and trees with your friends, no daytime events planned.

Friday night – party at 2 Loons (formerly the Foothills) in Silver City, MI across from Americinn. Bring your own beer/drinks, the band Feeding Leroy will be playing with a $2 cover starting at 8pm.

Saturday 2/10 – $25 lift tickets. Uphill Downhill race at 10:30 am in front of the lodge on Ojibway. Prizes for the fastest male and female.
Ski the runs and trees with your friends all day, we will be doing human slalom on Agate under the lift. 3pm – group photo at the top of the chair lift. We may have Jason from Trail Genius there with his drone to get some great video of us skiing throughout the day.

Saturday night – party in the porkies lodge starting at 6pm. Potluck, bring a crock pot and/or a dish to pass. Bring your own beer/drinks. We will have prizes for best costume, uphill downhill race, and others. Music – acoustic old timey jam, bring your instruments. Party will end at Midnight, please clean up after yourselves so we can leave a good impression with the lodge.

Sunday 2/11 – $25 lift tickets, ski the runs and woods with your friends. Backcountry tour to the radio tower and cross country ski tour, meet at lodge at 10 am.

Lets make it the best Telefest ever, bring someone new this year. We had about 175 folks last year, we’re hoping to get to 200 this year. If you have any questions post them to this facebook page. Happy skiing and pray for fresh pow!!!

CROSS COUNTRY

Cabin fever got you down? Well c’mon out and get in on some winter fun snowshoeing, skiing, biking our groomed trails! YES, we said BIKING! We track set one side for skiers and compact flat the other side for snowshoers and fat tire bikes. Either way you choose, it is all waiting for you this weekend. Free of charge, the trails are maintained on a donation basis which helps cover the fuel. Thanks to all of you who help in this way. See you on the trails!

Midwest Telefest at the Porkies is February 9, 10, and 11th !

We are having a wonderful season out on the south shore of Superior. The snow has been plentiful and the skiing is great!

The festival will be providing music and a dance floor in our tall A frame. Music, skiing, eating, all around a good time.

Help us make February a wonderful month to choose on the basis of love!
