Boyne Highlands Snow Report – 11/24 – Opening on Friday!

Via Boyne Highlands Resort Facebook Page: Do you want the good news, or the really good news? With 20 straight hours of snowmaking and weather looking good, we’ll be opening on Friday!!! Stay tuned for updates.

Wednesday, November 24 – WE’RE OPENING FRIDAY! Due to superior technology, the quality of the snow produced the BOYNE Low-E guns and a great team effort by our snowmaking crew, Boyne Highlands will be the first resort in lower Michigan to open for the 2010/11 season!

We will be operating the Heather lift only from 11:00-4:30 on Friday, November 26 and Saturday and Sunday from 9-4:30. Friday lift tickets will be $20 for all ages and Saturday/Sunday lift tickets will be $25 for all ages.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and we hope to see you Friday!

The last month has kept us busy with preparations for the winter season and we can’t wait for the season to begin!  We’ve added more Boyne Low-E fan guns to our snowmaking fleet.  The proprietary technology in the Low-E guns allow us to make greater quantities of quality snow, especially at marginal temperatures.  This is extremely beneficial in helping us get the early start we’re all dreaming of.  For park fans, ten new features are in store this season; our new Twin Zip provides the longest single zipline ride in the state; and our cafeteria has gone green.
