Boyne Highlands Snow Report – 11/26
Friday, November 26 – WE’RE OPENING TODAY! Due to superior technology and the quality of the snow produced by the BOYNE Low-E guns, plus a great team effort by our snowmaking crew, Boyne Highlands expects to be the first resort in lower Michigan open for the 2010/11 season! We will be operating the Heather lift only from 11:00am-4:30pm today; and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am-4:30pm. Friday lift tickets will be $20 for all ages and Saturday/Sunday lift tickets will be $25 for all ages. With great snowmaking weather in the forecast we are committed to making snow at every opportunity and opening additional terrain as soon as possible.
When you come out today bring your camera and upload your favorite photo of the day to our Boyne Highlands Facebook fan page. The winning photo will earn you a sweet $50 BOYNE Gift Card and your photo a spot on our homepage this week!
The last month has kept us busy with preparations for the winter season and we can’t wait for the season to begin! We’ve added more Boyne Low-E fan guns to our snowmaking fleet. The proprietary technology in the Low-E guns allow us to make greater quantities of quality snow, especially at marginal temperatures. This is extremely beneficial in helping us get the early start we’re all dreaming of. For park fans, ten new features are in store this season; our new Twin Zip provides the longest single zipline ride in the state; and our cafeteria has gone green.
