Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 03/22
Skate lanes B H D W X and Y have been groomed today, Thursday, March 22
Spring Classic Skiing. The Good, Bad and the Ugly of classic skiing with Spring Like Conditions. Good: double polling, sunshine, long days and best of all you are still skiing. Bad: You have to find the sweet spot of the day temp wise when to ski those tracks. Ugly: those dam beach leaves clogging up the tracks and waiting to stop you dead in your tracks. Yes I am only a classic skier so all my friends leave me and start skate skiing because of the great conditions. Can’t blame them. If you are like me and are still classic skiing I recommend you stay out of the tracks and ski on the skate lanes especially when going down hills. Today I enjoyed B, H up Heartattack Hill down Heaven on my classic skies and enjoyed every minute of it. Peggy
