XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 04/06

Yesterday’s conditions were marvelous, especially in them morning!

We had a great day of spring skiing yesterday! Groomers Stu and Mike were able to roll in tracks and snow comb the Wild Turkey, Mackinaw Cut, Trapper’s Cabin and Rolling Hills trails yesterday morning. Groomer Mike will snow comb those trails with the Ginzu again this morning. We received another inch of snow last night, which is just what was needed to help fill in some of the thinning spots in the tracks. The Manitou, Adventure and Tall Pines trails are ungroomed due to thin and/or wet snow, but are still open for back country or rock skis. Today should be another great day on the HQ trails!

The store and rental/demo desk will be open today and tomorrow from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Come shop the end of season sale, or demo a new skate ski package! Our selection is strong and our prices our the lowest they’ll be all year. Best of all: Chili is on for lunch!

Enjoy the trails!

-Mariah, Stu & the crew
