XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 04/14
We have received about an inch of snow so far this morning, and snow continues to fall. We have not yet received enough snow, and the ground is too wet still to groom the trails today. Coverage on the trails ranges from long, good stretches of the remaining skiable snow from our last snowfall, to wide open bare spots with just this new inch or so of fresh snow on top. We are forecast to receive 3 more inches of snow today before a wintery mix sets in tomorrow. We will see how cold it gets tonight to see if the ground will harden up enough to do anything with tomorrow morning, and send out a ski report with our prognosis and plan.
