Shanty Creek Snow Report – 11/23
Schuss Mountain will be open from 9a-4:30pm today with the purple chair and magic carpet available. As a reminder, Schuss Mountain will be available Friday and Saturday this weekend. Our mountain crew was able to build a small terrain park on Purple Daze and we’re pumped about this early-season build!
Overnight temperatures this past week have been ideal for snowmaking, which we’ve been making at every opportunity. Today’s weather forecast calls for cloudy early with some clearing expected late. Highs will be around 45 degrees. It’s going to be a beautiful day on the slopes!
Early season lift tickets are $39 (adult) and $29 (junior/senior/youth). Discounted lift tickets can be purchased in advance here.
After opening day today, be sure to stick around for Warren Miller’s “The Face of Winter” showing at Ivan’s. Doors open at 7pm. Sponsored by Short’s Brewing Company. And on Saturday, Antrim Ski Academy will be hosting the annual ski swap in the Grand Ballroom of the Lakeview Hotel.
