Sunday, December 5 – Join the fun on the Boyne Mountain slopes… three lifts + four trails open today! We have a good amount of snow forecasted and with low temps expected throughout the week, we look forward to opening as much terrain as absolutely possible by Friday. We have four trails (Boyneland, Hemlock, Pierson, Victor) and three lifts (Boyneland, Hemlock, Victor) open today, 9am-4:30pm.
Thanks to the efforts of our snowmaking team that’s been cranking out snow with their new huge fleet of Boyne Low-E fan guns, we were able to ski/ride last weekend! The proprietary technology in the Low-E guns allow us to make greater quantities of quality snow, especially at marginal temperatures. This is extremely beneficial in helping us get the early start we’re all dreaming of. New this winter are ten more features in our terrain parks, plus old favorites like our monster 550-foot Superpipe, skier/boarder cross cross and mini pipe; new lines have been added to our Zipline Adventure including the new Twin Zip; and our cafeteria has gone green.
