ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 12/28
Friday 9 PM
The Lake effect snow has been kicking in for the past few hours off and on. I am just coming in from grooming . Spent most of my time out on the Highlands and Ridge Runner. The conditions have been great (from early season conditions 7 weeks ago) to excellent conditions …. after 5 feet of snow and hundreds of grooming hours.
Friday 6 PM
We received about 3 inches of snow last night and another 1-2 inches of dry snow during the day. The Crew was out grooming 70 km until 9 AM this morning. It was great skiing today, skiers were quite happy, fresh snow, snow hanging on the trees, Full grooming crew is heading back out in the early morning.
