ABR Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 01/02
Wednesday 9 PM
Skiers were quite happy with the new snow and trail conditions today. I am just coming in from Grooming and checking the trails, We ran the Pisten Bully on a few of the flatter trails at ABR today , Cherry, Blueberry 2 way and Jack Pine from the River House before heading out to groom the SISU Trail into town with co-pilot Chris. We made a down and back pass over the 8 hour shift including sawing low branches, clipping and blading on the dished SISU climb before the Big Indian.
The light grooming equipment on the SISU trail provided a good base and the Pisten Bully really solidified the base leveling out the trail. Early AM we have a grooming crew of 3 heading out to the south and I am heading to the North for regrooming.
