XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/11

The Rolling Hills trail is in very good shape!!

It was a fine day of skiing yesterday in the new snow! Classic tracks remain set from yesterday morning, and Groomer Mike will snow comb the skate lanes at daybreak today. Ski conditions for classic and skating are good to great. There are some oak leaves down in some spots due to the high winds, but there are many excellent stretches out there!

Weather Forecast:
Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High 23F. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 40%.
Tonight: Cloudy skies. Low 14F. Winds light and variable.
Tomorrow: Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High near 25F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special is the Wild Turkey Panini! Sliced turkey breast, basil pesto, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and provolone cheese, grilled on herb focaccia bread. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle!
