Porcupine Mountains Snow Report – 01/11

We are currently recieving some lake effect snowfall!

We are now open Fridays through Mondays 9am til 5pm ET

CROSS COUNTRY TRAILS: All ski trails have been done in the last 2 days. The River trail is still a little rough, thus only been rolled. Everything else is in good to really good condition.

Join us tomorrow night for the lantern-lit ski and snowshoe trail 6-9 pm.

Porcupine Mountain Winter Sports Complex

The warm temps are inhibiting our ability to groom the hill, it will not be groomed today, however the melting has left a smooth surface and the hill should ski/ride nicely. I have skied there today and by the end of the day conditions were quite nice. Spring skiing on gently softened snow but not mushed potatoes. Looking forward to tomorrow to ski on freshly groomed snow and hopefully in the woods when snow will soften enough in the afternoon.
