XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/17
The skiing on the Headquarters trails is good to great! Groomer Mike snow combed the skating lanes on all trails last night, and after setting up with the cold temps overnight, the skating will be excellent on the Rolling Hills, Trappers Cabin, and most of the Wild Turkey and Manitou trails. Classic tracks are in fair to good condition on most trails – just steer clear of the Tall Pines trail for now. Overall conditions are very pleasing and should be enjoyed thoroughly!
Weather Forecast:
Today: A mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon. High near 25F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 17F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow: Overcast. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High around 20F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
